Entry & General Information

VEGOFEST is a one-day celebration of food, culture, and community. Our mission is to share the values behind vegetarianism – Love, Nurture & Connect – through vibrant stalls, performances, and activities.

This year’s festival runs from 10am – 4pm on 19 October at the Old Cheese Factory, Berwick.

$2 per person. Kids aged 6 & under – Free.

Most stalls accept card payments, while some only take cash or vouchers. Vouchers can be purchased at the Information Booth where card payments are accepted. The festival is not cash-free, so please remember to bring enough cash to avoid missing out. There will also be ATMs available onsite, refer to the event map.

Yes, we can stamp your hand when you leave, and you may re-enter any time during festival hours.

Plan for at least 1–2 hours to enjoy the food stalls and stage performances. If you’d like to join the Arts & Cultural activities, allow extra time. Check our social media closer to the event for the full performance schedule to help plan your visit.

There is no formal dress code. Most activities and food stalls are outdoors, so please wear comfortable clothing and footwear. We kindly remind patrons to come prepared for the weather, including sun protection or rainwear as needed.

Food & Drink

Food prices mostly range from approximately $5 to $20.

Look out for stall signage. Some stalls will be clearly marked as vegan and/or gluten-free friendly.

Food allergens are listed at each stall. Always double-check with stallholders directly. Please note, as some food is prepared in central kitchens, cross-contamination is possible.

You’re welcome to bring your own food. In the spirit of the festival, we encourage keeping it vegetarian where possible. Please help us keep the area clean by taking your rubbish with you or using the bins provided.

Facilities & Accessibility

Are pets allowed?
Yes, we are pet-friendly! Please keep pets on a leash, clean up after them, and note they are not permitted indoors.

We do not have parents’ or breastfeeding rooms. Disability toilets are available onsite.

Free parking is available onsite.

Yes we do. The ambulance / First Aid tent is located at Zone A Parking Lot. Refer to event map.

Activities & Program

Most Arts & Culture activities are free. However, please check individual stall signage for any charges.

Check the event map or ask one of our friendly volunteers at the Information Booth.

You can ask at the Information Booth or contact us via our contact form or social media.

Many of our activities are designed for all ages, but we also have specific workshops and experiences tailored especially for children. Please check the activity signs or ask a volunteer at the Information Tent for details on which activities are best suited for children.
